WRITING PARTNERSHIP

Kirsty and Steve have been colleagues and friends for several years. In March 2020, when the first lockdown began, they worked together on a script for a BBC writers room competition as a fun challenge. They enjoyed the process of working together despite the geographical barrier of having 120 miles between them. With lockdown continuing for the foreseeable, it seemed like a natural transition to another project. This time, they set their sights on a more longterm creative outlet and began planning their first novel for an adult audience. Co-authorship has come easily to Kirsty and Steve who both have experience of working collaboratively on writing projects. They have harnessed the technology at their disposal to keep in contact and work together on their debut novel. The writing partnership has been so enjoyable that they are now working on book 2!
